About CubicPath

A free reflex game, in your browser, for phone and computer.

CubicPath started years ago as a game its creator made in Unity. This is the browser version: the same idea, rebuilt from scratch so it can be played on any phone or computer without installing anything.

The idea is simple: a path of cubes builds itself in front of you and you have to follow it without falling off. Every step adds points and, the further you go, the faster everything gets.

How to play

• Your cube can only move forward, left or right, and only onto a tile that is part of the path.
• If you step where there is no cube, you lose.
• The camera moves on its own: if you fall behind and leave the bottom of the screen, you also lose.
• The first rows always go straight so you can find your rhythm; then the path starts to turn.

Controls

Computer	W or ↑ forward · A or ← left · D or → right · P or Esc pause
Phone	Tap the left, center or right of the screen (Zones mode), or use three big buttons (Buttons mode). Change it in Settings → Controls.

Points and speed

• Each step is worth 10 points.
• Every 500 points the game speeds up a little, until it reaches its top speed at 20,000.
• When you lose you can watch an ad to double the points of that run (once per run).

Maps

Your record unlocks new maps, each with its own colors and its own music:

Ranking and account

When you open the game a guest account is created automatically, so you can play without signing up. To appear in the world ranking, link your account with Google in Settings → Account; that also lets you recover your record on another device. Your email is never shown: the ranking only shows the name you choose. More details in the privacy policy.
