Terms and conditions

This is an English translation of the Spanish terms and conditions. If the two versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.

These terms apply to anyone who plays CubicPath at cubicpath.app. By playing you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the game.

The game

• CubicPath is free and provided as is, with no guarantee that it will always work, be error-free or work on every device.
• The game may change, receive updates, lose features or stop being available at any time, without prior notice.
• Points, records, unlocked maps and ranking positions have no monetary value and can't be sold or exchanged for money or prizes.

Your account

• When you open the game a guest account is created. If you clear your browser data or the periods described in the privacy policy pass, you may lose your record. To keep it, link your account with Google.
• You are responsible for what happens with your Google account and the device you play on.

Names and ranking

• Your in-game name is shown publicly in the ranking. Don't use names that are offensive, rude, discriminatory, that impersonate someone else or that include personal data (like your full name or phone number).
• Cheating is forbidden: modifying the game, submitting fake scores, automating games or exploiting bugs to climb the ranking.
• We may change names, remove scores from the ranking or delete accounts that don't follow these rules, without prior notice.

Ads

• The game shows Google AdSense ads. When you lose, an ad you can close sometimes appears.
• The double points button shows a rewarded ad: your points are doubled only if you watch it in full, once per run. If no ad is available, the button doesn't appear.
• Ads are the responsibility of whoever publishes them; we don't endorse the advertised products. Using an ad blocker may make some features (like double points) unavailable.

Intellectual property

The game, its design, its music and its code belong to its creator. The Angie's New House font and the three.js library belong to their authors (see credits). You may not copy, redistribute or publish the game on other sites without permission.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the creator of CubicPath is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the game, including the loss of scores or data. Play in moderation and take breaks.
